Eleven years ago, the STScI, together with professional astronomers, was the main organizer of a long-term observation campaign at the Teide Observatory on Tenerife. At that time we investigated the behaviour of a binary star of two extremely massive components.Several students as well as amateur and professional astronomers at several observatories were involved (see the publication at that time). Now the results of an observation campaign based on the measurements of that time have been published with STScI participation. The publication is a proof of our fruitful cooperation with professional astronomy.
