After some interested persons had contacted us via our website for observations, we now used the good weather for an open observation day. We were able to welcome around 30 visitors. As the sun is at its maximum activity, we were able to observe not only spots on its surface but also spectacular protuberances through our telescopes. Pupils brought their parents with them and, for once, allowed them to look at the sun too. This made them happy, especially as the little ones were provided with chalk to colour the pavement in front of the observatory.
