The vast majority of amateur astronomers take photos of objects in the sky. This is more complicated than initially expected, as the raw data has to be processed extensively to achieve good results. Our club member Rüdiger Fischer therefore offered an open course on this topic, which was attended by internal and external guests from 13 to 75 years. Colleagues from the Köln-Bonner-Astrotreff didn’t need to be told twice and took part, gaining an insight into various techniques, programs and tricks in four compact hours.
