The rotation of Jupiter in 30 minutes

Impressive results can be achieved in a very short time in our school lab. One example is the rotation of Jupiter, which Patrick Staden was able to capture with a very small but fast CCD camera. He took many pictures in just a few seconds to capture sharp images despite air turbulence. He repeated this three times over a period of half an hour and was thus able to record the rapid rotation of the planet Jupiter without much prior technical knowledge. And then he also recorded Saturn at the same time…
