It was slowly getting cramped in our service building. Many telescopes and telescope mounts as well as chairs for the seminar room were in the way at important places. This has now been remedied. The company Säbu from Morsbach donated an insulated storage container, which was manufactured especially for us and is now located in our school laboratory. After a guided tour of the facility and a quick coffee, the youngsters followed the unloading manoeuvre of ‘crane navigator’ Henning Schmeis with millimetre precision. The operators of the observatory were amazed by the accurate finish of the new structure and will now develop an optimised storage concept.
